Procedure |
Policy: It shall be the policy of Community Care that all services and facilities are meaningfully accessible to persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Community Care’s values state that all persons should be treated with dignity and respect, that all children and families have inalienable rights and that we embrace the responsibility of protecting and advocating for those rights, and that we recognize and respect the child’s and family’s reality rather than categorizing such reality as a dysfunction. It is in this spirit that it is our policy to offer services and facilities to all persons, regardless of disability. Further, it is our policy that we avoid the use of language that labels persons with disabilities. This policy applies to all services provided by Community Care directly, or through contractual, licensing, or other arrangements.
