Procedure |
Policy: It shall be the policy of Community Care that any provider who is aware of any conflict of interest, either actual or probable, shall immediately report such conflict to his/her Team Clinical Supervisor or Human Resources Coordinator. Affiliations with other organizations may give rise to situations where a conflict of interest on the part of the provider may occur. The number of possible situations that may give rise to such conflicts is almost infinite and it is neither feasible nor necessary to try to list in this policy all of the specific instances of conflict that may arise between Community Care and one or more of its providers. In general terms, if a provider has reason to believe that (s)he may have a personal interest, such as employment, ownership, or some other interest that may be adverse to Community Care, that provider must promptly inform his/her Team Clinical Supervisor or the Human Resources Coordinator.
