Policy: Community Care trains all members of its workforce on the policies and procedures with respect to protected health information. The trainings must occur prior to 4/13/03 for the existing work force; within 30 days for all new hires; within 30 days to affected members of the workforce when a material change in policy and procedure occurs. Documentation of the training must be recorded and kept within the organization for six years.
