Orientation and In-service Training |
Procedure |
Policy: Community Care's recognizes the importance of all employees and contractees to be provided regular and ongoing opportunities to maintain and develop their professional skills and licenses. All employees and contractees are required to participate in pre-service training and orientation, as well as, ongoing training and development seminars in order to maintain their individual qualifications and licenses.
All direct care employees, beginning in their second year of employment, are required to participate in annual professional development and training that is consistant with agency licensing and acceditation standards. All employees and contractees holding external certification or licensure are required to participate in such activities as are necessary to retain that certification or licensure.
As determined by supervisors and budgetary constraints, Community Care will provide ongoing training and necessary educational opportunities for each employee and contracted foster parent to further their individual skills and expertise in order to maintain a high level of quality services to the individuals we serve.
