Policy: Community Care encourages the professional and personal growth of its providers. The Agency recognizes that outside conferences and seminars can be a valuable way to keep current with new developments, learn from other professionals in the field and develop professional networks. Subject to budget considerations, Community Care may consider provider participation in offsite professional programs, conferences and learning opportunities when the subject of such programs is of clear, mutual benefit to the provider’s, the provider’s team’s and the agency’s professional growth and development goals, and when the investment of time and money is appropriate.
