Policy |
Procedure: Once per month the following maintenance will be performed on all network servers: review hard drive space; move files if necessary to free space; delete temporary files; review event logs for previous month, report suspicious events to the Security Officer, save and clear logs if necessary; verify virus scanning software is current and update if necessary; defragment if necessary; install current Microsoft Security Updates for operating system and relevant software, if necessary; schedule re-boot, if necessary.
