DEFINITION:
- An employee initiated Convenience,
Personal Leave of Absence without pay is an authorized written request for
an absence from work for reasons other than CAREPET Time, Family and
Medical Leave, Jury/Witness Duty, Bereavement Leave and/or Military
Duty.�
- Convenience, Personal Leave of Absence without
pay is a period of unpaid absence from employment requested by an employee
and approved by the employee�s immediate supervisor and/or the Executive
Director or their designee.�
Approved Convenience, Personal Leaves of Absence for less than a
month without pay will not result in a break in service.
