Procedure: 1. The Vice President, or designee, is responsible for the scheduling of routine and unexpected maintenance work.
2. A maintenance problem that may cause physical harm to any person or damage Community Care property is an emergency (i.e., fires, gas leaks, flooding or loss of electrical power for extended periods).
3. Emergency situations are addressed immediately with corrective actions taken the same day.
4. Routine maintenance includes all maintenance done by personnel on a regular or scheduled basis. Routine maintenance includes requests from providers that are not of an emergency nature. All maintenance requests are to be referred to the Vice President. The Vice President, or designee, will then ensure appropriate action is taken.
5. Outside contractors will be required to have and provide copies of certificates of coverage for general liability and worker's compensation insurances.
6. Individual self-employed contractees are required to have and provide copies of certificates of coverage for private health insurance.
