Policy: Community Care will implement policies and procedures for authorizing access to electronic protected health information that are consistent with its policies and procedures that protect the privacy and confidentiality of client protected health information. All clearinghouse functions will implement procedures that protect the electronic protected health information of the clearinghouse from unauthorized access by workforce members of the larger organization. All access to (and modifications to that access) electronic protected health information must be governed by procedure.
