Policy: It is the policy of Community Care that no confidential or proprietary data related to Community Care, its workforce or clients be stored on removable electronic media. These media include, but are not limited to, the following: compact disc (CD), digital video disc (DVD), floppy disk, personal digital assistant (PDA) and USB drive. In emergency situations members of the IT department may store data temporarily (24 hours or less) on removable electronic media. During this time the media will be properly secured and afterward the data and/or media will immediately be destroyed.
