Policy: Community Care's policy is that all individuals will meet specific and appropriate occupational requirements. These requirements include skills, knowledge, abilities and physical condition necessary to perform the job for which hired and, when appropriate, other special educational, training, certification and licensure requirements. Community Care provides equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodation to all people regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, religion, mental or physical disability or the candidate’s prior assertion of rights under the Worker’s Compensation Act or the Whistleblower’s Protection Act. Additionally, Community Care does not discriminate in employment against individuals who have undergone mental health or substance abuse treatment. In accepting employment applications Community Care will utilize a “closed door” policy. Unless otherwise provided in writing, employment with Community Care is considered to be at-will, so that either party may terminate the relationship at any time and for any lawful reason.
