Policy: Community Care policy is to maintain a safe and healthful environment for its employees, contractees, clients and visitors. Paramount in this endeavor is the understanding of all employees and contractees (hereafter simply "providers") of basic (and specific job-related) safe work practices to help avoid accidents and injuries. As noted in Community Care Policy AD0018 - Safety Plan, Community Care expects the cooperation of all providers in the observance of its health and safety plan. Additionally, Community Care appreciates any safety-related suggestions providers may have. Provides may submit such suggestions to the Health & Safety Committee. Each provider is a vital part of success of its health & safety program. As such, each provider bears a responsibility to conscientiously observe all federal, state, and local safety regulations along with Agency policies and procedures in the performance of his/her job.
